Kies Real Estate P/L was founded in 1990 by Michael and Tina Kies.   When Michael and Tina first started, they had only three properties for sale and within two years, after many long hours and late nights, they developed the business to having the largest selection of houses for sale in the Gawler area.    In 1992, they started using the Jenman System and have been using that system ever since. The Jenman System is about client care, based on ethics in real estate.

Always striving to provide the best client service available, Kies Real Estate has continued to prosper and in 1996, the decision was made to declare independence and not renew the agreement with a major franchise group and start trading as an independent agent "Kies Real Estate".  Michael Kies has been awarded some of the most prestigious awards in the industry including, top salesperson for Weeks and Macklin Real Estate in 1989, top salesperson for L.J. Hooker SA/NT for five consecutive years, top salesperson in SA awarded by the R.E.I.S.A for two years and top salesperson nationally for L.J Hooker.

In 1998 Michael decided that the time had come to focus on building a winning team instead of having the laser-like vision on selling real estate.
